One of the most common questions we hear is, "What should I wear to my bridal appointment?"

The simple answer? Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

A nude, seamless pair of underwear is always a great choice, as it works well under most gown fabrics and colours. While a strapless bra can be helpful, many bridal gowns have built-in structure and support, so it's absolutely not essential.

Most importantly, wear something easy to change in and out of. You'll be trying on several dresses throughout your appointment, and comfort is key.

A Little Wedding Planning Goes a Long Way

Before you start shopping, it's helpful to have a few details about your wedding day in mind.

You don't need every detail finalised, but having an idea of the following can help your stylist guide you towards the perfect gown:

• The aesthetic or vibe you're hoping to create

• Your approximate wedding date

That said, there is absolutely no expectation to arrive fully dressed up. Whether you're coming straight from work, after school drop-off, or with a full glam look, we're here to help you find your dream dress.

One thing we do recommend avoiding is fresh fake tan. Unfortunately, fake tan can transfer onto delicate fabrics and sample gowns, so it's best to leave it for another day.
